Put a name on it. These personalized stocking and gift tags turn a plain stocking, gift bag, or wrapped box into something that clearly belongs to someone — and they get pulled back out year after year instead of thrown away with the paper.

🎄 Order by December 10 for delivery before Christmas. Every tag is made to order, so we set our cutoff early enough to cover production plus standard shipping to anywhere in the country. Orders placed after December 10 will still be made and shipped quickly, but we cannot promise they arrive before the 25th.

Priced per tag. Each tag is sold individually, not as a set, and every tag includes its own jute twine and three beads. Because every tag is personalized separately, you design them one at a time — finish the first name, add it to your cart, then use Design another tag on the cart page to come back and do the next name. Your cart holds as many as you need, and they all ship together in one box.

$5.95 flat shipping — free over $35. Shipping is a flat $5.95 per order no matter how many tags you add, so a tag for every name in the house ships for the same price as one. Spend $35 or more on tags and shipping is free — that is four of our 2" × 5" engraved tags, or fewer once you add lettering upgrades. The $35 is your tag total before shipping.

• Engraved tags — the name is burned directly into the wood for a clean, single-layer look. Engraved tags are flat and are not layered.
• Layered tags — the name is cut separately and mounted on top of the tag for a raised, dimensional finish.
• Stain — wood tags are hand-stained, and you can choose your stain color. Stain shade varies from piece to piece depending on how the wood takes it.
• Hardware — every tag ships with jute twine and three beads in your choice of style, ready to tie on.

A quick tip: each option in the designer has a Help note attached to it. Those notes explain exactly what you are choosing and how it will look when we build it — please read them as you go. Two minutes there is the difference between a tag you love and a tag that surprised you.

Materials

Tags are cut from 1/8" basswood — a tight, smooth-grained hardwood that takes fine engraving detail without splintering and holds stain evenly. Every tag is sanded and stained before the name goes on, so it arrives finished and ready to tie, not raw.

Lettering upgrades

• Acrylic lettering — instead of engraving, we cut the name from 1/8" acrylic and mount it on the tag for a bold, raised, glossy finish that catches the light. Metallic acrylic is also available in red, green, and gold.
• Acrylic offset — adds a second 1/8" acrylic layer behind the name, lifting it further off the tag and adding a shadow line and a second color. This is the most dimensional option we make, and you can choose your offset finish:
  • Matte acrylic — a smooth, non-glare finish in white or black that lays a soft, modern shadow behind the name. The quietest of the three, and the one that lets a script font do the talking.
  • Glitter acrylic — sparkle suspended in the acrylic itself, so it never flakes or sheds.
  • Mirror acrylic — a true reflective finish that acts like polished metal under light.

The offset layer is available on the 3" × 6" tag only. There is not enough room on the 2" × 5" for a second layer to sit behind the name and still look right, so the designer will only offer it once you select the larger size. All lettering upgrades are optional and priced in the designer, so you see exactly what each one costs before you add to cart.

Sizes

• 2" × 5" — our standard tag, sized for stockings and gift bags. Available engraved or with acrylic lettering.
• 3" × 6" — a larger tag with more room for longer names, double names, or added wording. This is the only size that can take the acrylic offset layer.

Long names are not squeezed in or shrunk down to fit. We adjust the layout and letter spacing by hand so the name reads clean and balanced on the tag at whichever size you choose. Sizes listed are nominal — finished tags are cut to order and may measure slightly over or under those dimensions.

About handmade

Each tag is cut, finished, and assembled here in our Clay County, Florida shop after you order — nothing is pre-made or sitting on a shelf. Because of that, wood grain, stain depth, and acrylic color will vary slightly from tag to tag and from the photos shown. That variation is part of a real handmade piece, not a defect.

Production time

Most tags are made within about 24 hours of your order, then shipped. Larger orders and multi-name sets may take a little longer, and we will let you know if that is the case.

During the first three weeks of December, production runs one to three business days as holiday orders come in. That extra time is already built into our December 10 cutoff, so an order placed on or before the 10th has room to be made and delivered before Christmas.

Care

Wipe clean with a dry cloth. Keep tags out of standing water and away from prolonged direct sun or heat so the stain and finish hold up. Store flat between seasons.
